Research: Based on the data I collected, I was able to conclude that the residents of Naperville value their sense of community, quality education, historical sites/parks, and their shopping district. I used this in order to start planning a new logo and design system.
Mission: One of my in-class assignments was to take a city and rebrand it based on our own personal opinions, research of the town, as well as feedback from other citizens who live there. My hometown is Naperville Illinois, so I chose to complete my project there.

Inspiration: I decided to focus on the sense of community within the town. I wanted to take inspiration from some of the well-known landmarks within the town. On the right is a Dandelion Fountain well-known throughout the parks. On the right is the Naperville Riverwalk which is a popular tourist attraction and family hub.

Final Two: After many sketches and iterations I landed on these two as my final logos to choose from. I sent out a poll to some friends, family, classmates, and most importantly a few residents who live in Naperville. I asked questions to gain insight into which logo better represented the city. Ultimately the bottom logo won!
